Join LCR volunteer and local crochet teacher, Maribel Young, as we create a reusable bag with crochet basics. This course would be great as a refresher for someone that hasn't crocheted for a while -- or a beginner/intermediate level that wants to be guided further. We will follow the pattern and tutorial provided by Loops and Love / https://loopsandlovecrochet.com/2019/08/19/speedy-vstitch-market-bag/
We will provide all materials as well as the pattern. You can follow along with Maribel in person - and later continue to hone those skills following along with the video tutorial by Amanda of Loops and Love crochet. This class is estimated to take up to 2 hours, if you want to follow the project through to completion. It's a BIG bag! Beginners may have difficulty completing the project in this time frame. You will be provided the material, pattern, and tutorial in order to complete the project at your own pace.
We plan to keep a relaxed, comfortable, welcoming environment so we can work together and help eachother. It takes a village. So let's come together - practice some CReaTiVe CoNSeRVaTioN - and hang out at LCR!
The cost for attendance is $15 per person. This class This will be used supply the materials and teacher, as well as expanding our classroom facilities.
