ABOUT ABOUT

A Unique Jewelry Making Course with Lindy Malin!
Make someone special (like yourself :) )  a unique wire wrapped glass pendant - while Lindy demonstrates

Lindy Malin will discuss and show the process of polishing antique stained glass, provide a LIVE 10 minute DEMO. As an alternative, you will learn also how and what to use to make a bail if you never wish to drill glass. We will work with you to create the perfect necklace gift! You will also have a chance to make a metal "doodad" to add to your favorite glass pendant. A doodad is a wire creation, that will hang in front of the glass to accent both visually and with a chime sound when you move.  You will leave with new knowledge, experiences without having to purchase tools, alternative methods to jewelry finding, AND an antique drilled stained glass piece.

Lindy is a skilled artist and educator who has brought her skills to teach classes for IU13, Disability Empowerment Center, Thaddeus Stevens College, The YWCA, American Cancer Society Walk For Life, AC Moore and Joanne's Fabrics. She also creates private events for weddings, animal rescues, church sales and clubs. She has worked for Fire Mountain, selling over 10,000 pieces of antique stained glass, and has been published in Bead Style Magazine and several other magazines.

All materials and tools are provided, although if you have tools you are comfortable with, you
are welcome to bring them. Also, bring along a pair of gloves for tender hands.
